WINNING!

Guess who’s playing at THOP Fest this year! \m/ \m/ \m/

Long story short…it’s ME. Long story: This was the High Desert, so obviously it wasn’t as short a trip as I usually take haha. I think that’s why four of the six acts who signed up didn’t show up. Seriously. So now I went from potentially being one of 10+ if I had stuck to the Pomona tour date, to one of two. I killed it, of course. We only had ten minutes, but I made the best use of it. Saved Defeat Me for last and when I started that geetar solo it was like daaaaaaamn. Noa James gave me some game as well, especially about my stage presence and that I need to use my guitar more often on stage because it sets me apart from other rappers. He hasn’t heard my discography yet (most people haven’t haha) so it’s nice to know I’m on the same page as him. Most of my songs are just that; rapping and singing while playing.

Anyways, the festival is in October. So that means I have plenty of time to get myself ready and get my backing tracks sounding right. The only way this could get better is if I win a spot on the main stage! Honestly, I haven’t heard the other 8 winners yet, but I know I can be the one to get that spot. Keep me in your thoughts, pls.

I also had a studio session with Paul on Sunday and we knocked out another track. So right now I’m sitting on four songs, including New Classic. That one is coming out first and I already got the cover art done by the homie Keith (great artist). Tentative release date is 07/13! So stay tuned.
