Let It Go…

Yoooo. Shot a MV for Let It Go last week! I’ve been performing more of the rap tracks off of Fentanyl Chic and this one in particular is getting a good reaction. Who would’ve thought a happy and positive song about gratitude would do that? The shoot was fun as hell, too. Took to the streets of Pasadena on a weekday afternoon. There was a freakin’ farmer’s market that day and the weather was beautiful, which meant a whole variety of people outside with their families. Struck up a few conversations with strangers and they felt good, I don’t do that enough.

What else?…Oh! Been staying active on my gaming YouTube page. I’ve been playing ESPN NFL 2K5 franchise mode as the Falcons and it’s playoff season! Just put up a recap video for the NFC Divisional Round @ CHI and it was CRAZY. The most important part of this video is the music; I decided to write my own SportsCenter/NFL highlights score for this footage. It was a pain in the ass to do but I had lots of fun at the same time. Best of all, I’m very satisfied with how it came out! The idea is to refine these ideas a bit more and write some more scores for my upcoming games. We went on to win the NFC Championship in a game against TB and it could definitely use its own music. Maybe I’ll put together a project of these scores? That’s not a bad idea…

Next up are the collabs I’ve been sitting on, particularly the ones with the homie Z and a ML rap track. Between these and my own music, I’ve been busy! I’ll have a teaser video up for “Too Cool to Signal”, one of the songs I’m working on right now. The lyrics and demo are basically done; it’s another soukous/African-y ballad about relationships.

Anyways, here’s to life! I’m gonna make this week a productive one.
