First of the year

Quick and dirty:

Finished the lyrics on the posse cut I mentioned last week (at least I think I did). Very very excited to record it proper. In other news: there’s a Pomona Loud this week! Last one I went to was in 2025 haha so I’m planning to pull up whether I perform or not. Besides…same same same. It’s hard to write about writing without being redundant. So I won’t try.

I’ve been stuck on this track recently and I’m dying to cover it in full. It’s a freakin gauntlet of guitar playing haha. I think it’s comparable to Mondo Ry in difficulty because it’s just riff after riff after riff without any real breaks. A million years ago I did a full cover of Mondo Ry, so this is definitely on my 2026 checklist.
