My First Drop

Yo TMGE, can I get a drop? Thankfully I didn’t get jumped haha

I’ve been feeling good lately. Like, reaaaally good. Feeling anxious about music is a good feeling. Feeling like I’m busy taking care of music-related endeavors is a good feeling. I’m very blessed to have a shot at playing in front of some new and bigger crowds. This Wednesday is a special edition of Pomona Loud, sort of a 909Day pre-game. There are going to be some other 909Day artists performing and I’m sure each of them will draw their own group of people. So, game face is on and I’m practicing the hell out of my song(s). It’s five minutes or 2 songs and I’m not one to go over time (ahem) haha so I’m clocking in more at 4 minutes unless I pull out my sub two minute hidden track. If I perform it on Wednesday, y’all will definitely know haha

Finally had recording session with Paul and we basically recreated the Something’s Missing backing track (same song I’ll be performing Wednesday, go figure). So yeah, things are pretty 909Day focused right now. I’ve been so busy that I almost (keyword: almost) forgot that I’m gonna be at THOP Fest, until I saw them announce the venue! It looks SICK. That isn’t until October, but I already know September is gonna fly by.

I didn’t even mention the radio show! KCAA’s “I Love San Bernardino” show is hosting a few Pomona Loud performers for an interview + performance on August 17th from 7pm-8pm. There’s only three of us, so again I’m very grateful I get to be there. I was told I’ll get two songs; one will be Flock and I’m thinking of doing Ventilation (The L.O.S.T. Files 2) as the second. I haven’t performed it in a long time, but it’s something simple that lets me feature my guitar-ing haha. Nice little rock ballad sorta ting.

Anyways, that’s it for now. Besides all of the usual personal stuff. More than happy to be hear and more than happy to introduce myself to more people!
