I’m already late.

First blog of 2026 on Jan 6th. I didn’t sit and plan out my 2026 goals until last night. Way to start, man. Nah but really, it feels great to have a sense of what I want to get done by 2027. Staying organized is hard work but I’m finally enjoying how easy it makes things on the back end.

It all starts with making new music. So, I’m looking through my 2024/2025 demos to see what needs to be finished. I’m not the type to post snippets of a demo and I have no idea how to explain a song via text. Well, not my own music. That’s actually a bad thing…(mental note: learn how to describe yourself).

But I’ll share some names. Not song names, but the session filenames. Maybe these create a mental image?:

I promise, they’re not as ridiculous as they sound. I also have a habit of finding beats to write over, writing a single verse and maybe a hook, then moving on and forgetting all about it. Add all of those up and this is looking to be a productive year. Here’s to life!
