I really am that boring

Still in pre-THOP mode aka PRACTICING. I thought it would only be 10 minutes, but when I finally reached out to the organizers I found out it’s gonna be a 15 minute set. Waaaay different in my eyes. So I started thinking about how I could make that work and I ended up back at my Super Bowl Halftime Show. Yes. Super quick side story:

ESPN NFL 2K5 is my favorite game of all-time, no question. I still play it regularly, especially Franchise mode. So about a year ago, after streaming my entire season on Twitch (one week at a time) I made it to the Super Bowl. But I had one of those ideas you have when you’re faded and/or on the the toilet. Next thing I knew, I was setting up my green screen and recording performances for what would be the ESPN NFL 2K5 Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring TMGE! To be streamed on a Sunday when I streamed my big SB matchup Falcons (me) vs Titans in what I billed “The Battle of the South”. I basically pre-recorded both audio and video performances of a TMGE set, complete with transitions and costume (outfit) changes that I streamed during what would be halftime of my SB. This thing took a ton of work and was, as most everything I do, purely a labor of love. Didn’t get many views live, but some people were digging it after the fact. Best part? I LOST THE SUPER BOWL. It was frustrating as hell and put a damper on everything, which somehow horseshoed around and made things funny again.

Maybe not super quick, but yeah. I want the THOP set to be a bit similar: shorter versions of some songs, some half and half transition type things, and a sequence that has me rapping and slowly introducing the guitar. Using this halftime template will definitely help things.

SO time to get more practice in, stay up. Oh! I also started playing UFC Undisputed 3 again (I basically have a little pile of 360 games I still enjoying playing). Really fun, especially doing Career Mode with a created character. But anyways, I’m out haha
